CHAMBER PROGRAMS
The Harrison County Chamber of Commerce accomplishes its extensive Business Plan including the following programs and the many volunteers who strive for success in the Chamber and the community.
Leadership Harrison
Mission: To develop a corps of informed, committed and qualified individuals capable of providing dynamic leadership for Harrison County. The 15th class of Leaderhsip Harrison will run from Sept. 2011 to May 2012. 2009-2011 Chair Tammy Welling.
North Central Young Leaders
Throughout Harrison County and beyond, young talented individuals are making an impact in leadership roles within businesses and the community. Recognizing the needs and interests of this diverse group, the Harrison County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the launch of the new North Central Young Leaders Association. This division of the Chamber will serve the needs of individuals within Harrison and surrounding counties between the ages of 21 and 40.
NCYLA will focus around three key components: networking, community involvement, and development. The organization will host monthly after hours events for networking and building business relationships, provide opportunities for involvement in community service, and develop programs for the professional growth of its members. The organization will further serve as an avenue to increase the participation of young individuals within the Chamber in all of its initiatives. NCYL is a member of Generation WV. 2011 Chair Andrew Fulton.
